What DataBena does
DataBena tidies spreadsheets, points out things that may need checking, and shows simple dashboards. It does not replace an accountant. Our dashboards show what is recorded in your files; they are not audited accounts. “Recorded Profit” means sales minus the expenses recorded in your uploaded files. This may not reflect your business's actual net profit.
Your files
Your files stay yours. Only upload files you are allowed to use. Do not upload files that contain viruses or anything illegal.
Free check and accounts
The free check is limited to a few files a day per person. Business accounts are free for the first month, with up to three outlets. After that, if you choose to continue, the price is ₦15,000 a month including one outlet, plus ₦5,000 a month for each extra open outlet. Each outlet can add up to 30 files a month. We never charge you without your permission, and you can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
Outlets and changes to your monthly amount
You can add, rename, close and reopen outlets in Settings. We show the new monthly amount before you confirm any change. An outlet added while you are subscribed can be used straight away; its ₦5,000 is added from your next payment date, with no part-month charge. If you pay by card, we only charge a higher monthly amount after you have authorised it, and we email you before every payment, at least 7 days before when the amount has changed. Closing an outlet lowers your amount from your next payment date; nothing already paid is refunded. Closing an outlet never deletes its records.
If something goes wrong
We work hard to get things right, and we never change values we are unsure about. Still, please check important figures before making big decisions. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will look into it.
