Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to try DataBena?
No. The free analyzer works without an account. Upload a file, see your results and download your cleaned copy. Create an account only if you want to track your business month after month.
What files can I upload?
Excel files (.xlsx) and CSV files, up to 5 MB on the free analyzer. Old Excel files (.xls) need to be saved as .xlsx first: open the file in Excel, choose Save As, then Excel Workbook.
Will you change my original file?
Never. We keep your original exactly as it was and give you a separate cleaned copy. Every change we made is listed in your quality report.
What if something in my file is unclear?
We leave it exactly as you typed it and show it to you. For example, 03/04/2026 could be 3 April or 4 March, and two identical sales might be two real sales. We never guess with your money.
Who can see my file?
Only you. Free analyzer files can only be opened in the browser you uploaded them from, and they are deleted after 24 hours. You can also delete yours straight away.
How does the free trial work?
Your DataBena Business account is free for the first month, and you don't need a payment card to start. After that it is ₦15,000 a month including one outlet (₦5,000 a month for each extra outlet), and you are only charged if you choose to subscribe.
